My English speaking contacts should make an effort to google translate any updates I post in Spanish, rather than tell me: "Hi Ruben Next time kindly write in English as i cant understand your language.

Eduardo Gil: "I'm not sure I agree with you 100%. English language has become for years the "neutral" language for business. And that is why some many people has learned it as a second language. And it's possible that many of the people who wants to read your articles are not English native speakers. On the other hand, Google translator is NOT a reliable translator. It is good. But, I wouldn't trust it to translate my ideas from Spanish to English or vice versa. So, as much as I would like to see other trying to learn my mother language, I understand that English is the easiest language to learn in order to do business around the world. I even use English words, front time to time, when talking with other Latin Americans to be sure they know what I'm talking about.

Rubén Rivero Capriles: "I have thousands of contacts who only speak English and thousands of other contacts who only speak Spanish. I actually reassess on a weekly basis the percentage of updates I write on each language, as an impossible attempt to maximize everyone's satisfaction. Google translation has proven to me adequate even for translations into and from Chinese, when the intention is to communicate an idea rather than create literature.

Les Gee: "I am just curious,, Ruben, that why can't you translate with Google and publish it concurrently instead of expect your audience to do so? As such, you can decide whether the translation is adequate or make appropriate changes. Wouldn't this be the easier way and satisfy all parties?"
Rubén Rivero Capriles: "I can write in both English or Spanish, if you see my blog many of my articles are in both languages with my own translations. It is however an eyesore to publish everything in both languages while everyone else just publishes in one language. I take the lead of my contacts from the Netherlands, who have mastered this issue centuries ago and they post in Dutch when the contents are mostly relevant to their local audience, and they post in English when the contents are geared to their globally diverse contact list. It is interesting to notice that all 6 people who recommend this debate live in either US or UK. It seems that those two countries have a significant amount of their open-minded population fed up with those who stubbornly lobby for sanctions against other languages, cultures and immigrants."
